Hello and welcome to Kôna development blog!
It's been a while since we had the time to write updates. With the Montreal International Game Summit and the accounting mess now behind us, we can put 100% our focus back on creating an awesome game... and telling you all about how it goes!
We will use this new and shiny space to discuss various subjects such as:
- Game Design
- Programming
- User Interface / Ergonomics
- Business and PR
- Etc.
Approximately once every two weeks, we will choose a subject and publish it on this page. We obviously encourage anyone who read these posts to comment them. Suggestions and critics are (always) welcomed!
Some of you might be wondering why we are creating a blog in addition to our Facebook, Kickstarter, Twitter and Steam pages. To put it simply, it is all about freedom. Freedom to publish lenghty posts and on a regular basis without being afraid of spamming anyone. It is also better for interacting with people that come from anywhere.
That being said, we will keep posting updates on all the aformentioned pages. In fact, we might simply redirect people here when our updates don't fit into a tweet or Facebook post.
In short:
- We will use the blog as a development journal
- We will use Kickstarter to publish monthly updates.
- We will use Facebook, Twitter and G+ to interact with individuals as well as send links to new blog posts. We will use the forums on Steam to gather various feedback from the community,
Anyway, that's it for the introduction post, now let's focus on making a kick-ass game :)
